Time Management

Today I received my comps exam...wow! I have been waiting for this moment for so long, I am filled with excitement and a positive attitude. This is just the very beginning of the end of what I need to turn in by May 1, 2010! Of course I am still working on my thesis. These past few weeks have been hectic for me, I was sick for like a whole week laid on the couch, could not show up for work missed my intermediate SPSS class...my daughter got sick and was running a fever for days and the doctor said it was a viral infection that they could do nothing about. She has had 3 X-rays in a span of 5 months, not so fun at all. Well of course all three X-rays were for different reasons, but similar symptoms and the other two times were bacterial so we turned to antibiotics. Anyway..so back to the education stuff in my life. I was feeling down right scared of failing thesis, but hey a little phone call can lift you up when you know just who to call. So I called Dr. P and she just filled me with determination. I didn't even tell her how I was feeling, I just called to get some insight and boy I ended the conversation all smiles with a realization that I have so much help what is there for me to worry about? So to my fellow candidates...we can do this! Yea CHES exams are coming up soon..oh did I mention that I am taking the MCAT a week after that...I bet you are saying to yourself, why is she overloading herself with stuff that can wait. I wonder why too LOL! Well technically I had to, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into, because everything is a priority....nothing can wait at this point. I can tell you one thing though when my research is over and my article is submitted for publishing, I will truly be all smiles. That for me is the most critical thing because it does not just involve my effort, but the effort of others as well. There are 36 more days before all course work is turned in...can you believe it.
